Way of working

Discovery first.
Then a fixed scope.

Most work like this is bought as a fixed bid against an estate nobody has mapped yet. We invert the order.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We map how the operation runs and where the data actually lives.

Stop here and keep the map.

  2. 02

    Fixed scope

Scope and price fixed in writing before anything gets built.

  3. 03

    Build in slices

Each slice ships into production. Nothing waits on one cutover.

    Stop between any two slices.

  4. 04

    Hand off

Code, runbooks and the decisions behind them. You run it without us.

Boundaries
  • We don't modify the system that runs your plant.
  • We don't require production downtime.
  • We don't quote work we haven't seen.
Questions

The ones we get asked first.

Do we need to replace our ERP?
No. Grandhelm is designed to work around the systems already running your business. We connect your ERP, MES, WMS and other existing systems and build the missing capabilities around them. Replacement is only considered when it is genuinely the right answer.
Will our production need to stop?
No. We design integrations and deployments to work alongside your existing operation. Where possible, data is synchronized without changing the source system or interrupting production.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes. We work with legacy and modern systems, including ERP, MES, WMS, relational databases and on-premise infrastructure. Our approach is vendor-neutral, so the technology you already use does not determine the solution.
What exactly do we receive at the end of a project?
A working system, not just recommendations. Depending on the project, this can include the software, integrations, infrastructure, data pipelines, documentation, monitoring, security configuration and operational runbooks required to run it.
Do we own the software and data?
Yes. Our goal is to leave you with technology your business can own and operate. Your data remains yours, and project deliverables can be handed over to your internal team or another technology partner.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the problem, but we deliberately start small. We first define a bounded scope and deliver it in a controlled slice rather than starting with a large transformation programme. The timeline is agreed as part of the fixed scope.
How much does a project cost?
There is no meaningful one-size-fits-all price. The cost depends on the systems involved, complexity and the outcome you want to achieve. We start with a defined discovery, then provide a clear scope, deliverables and price before implementation begins.
How do you measure the business value?
We start with the business outcome, not the technology. Depending on the project, that could mean lower unit costs, better margins, increased production capacity, fewer late orders, reduced manual work, faster reporting or lower technology costs. The expected impact is defined before we build, and measured against the agreed baseline afterward.
